Course Overview:
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is used in the workplace to protect employees from hazardous materials and objects. This session reviews the types of PPE in use today, and how it should be used to be in compliance with federal and state regulatory agencies.

Material Handling and Storage Issues addresses maintaining a high-quality, safe storage/handling system in the industrial workplace. Participants learn general safety precautions related to material handling, storage, and warehousing, the types of storage/handling systems available, and the pros-and-cons of each. Proper forklift training, ladder safety, and stair safety are also reviewed.
